Misironye, Obiagbo win Best Model Nigeria 2015

It was fun and excitement last week Sunday at Terra Culture, during the fifth edition of Best
Model Nigeria, when Chukwuebuka Misironye and Tarere Obiagbo emerged Best Model Nigeria 2015, after a keen contest which involved over 30 models.
Commenting on his victory, Misironye said that he was overwhelmed: “I’m really excited that I won. I want to thank the organisers for this opportunity. My dream is to take this platform to a new level and touch lives.”
For Tarere Obiagbo: “I’m so excited that I won. When you believe in something and you keep try­ing, nothing can stop you. My greatest challenges were the fact that there were so many experienced and pretty ladies in the house but I thank God that I won. My dream is to be a mentor to younger girls. I already have a blog were I talk to younger models.”
“Where there is beauty, fashion and art, there you will find Italy,” says Councillor General of the Italy in Nigeria Andrea Pompermaier , com­menting on why the embassy has been supporting Best Model Nigeria, “Milan is one of the most important centres for fashion in the world so it is a pleasure to be here today. We’re working together to strengthen the relationship between the Nigerian fashion industry and Milan.”
Meanwhile, penultimate week in the UK, two past winners of the contest, Stephaney Omog­baiye and Adedamola Adebowale won Face of The world contest.
Commenting, Augustina Okitiakpe, the CEO of Modelslink International, organisers of the contest disclosed that Best Model Nigeria is designed to promote Nigerian youths both male and female.
The Italian Consular General later hosted the entourage and winners to a dinner at the Consulate located on Walter Carrington, Victoria Island, Lagos. Winners will get a one week holiday in Italy. Sponsors include Aquarite Water, Afrodisia.
